Il rosso e il nero

Il Parlamento Europeo di Strasburgo ospita Il Rosso e il Nero, un’opera realizzata per l’occasione che comprende ventotto lavori su carta in cui i colori del rosso e del nero si alternano in modo sinfonico. Il titolo della mostra, tratto dal capolavoro di Stendhal, si riferisce al forte contrasto cromatico evidente nelle carte, che possono essere considerate un’opera unica, composta dalle immagini legate alla poetica dell’artista, che diventano degli stilemi.

The European Parliament in Strasbourg houses Il Rosso e il Nero, a work realized for that occasion. It consists of 28 works on paper where the red and black alternate in a symphonic way. The title of the exhibition is taken form Stendhal’s masterpiece. It refers to the strong chromatic contrast on the paintings which can be considered a unique work where the images connected with the artist’s poetics become his stylistic methods.
